Car paint for used cars

A prerequisite of a used car is the fact that it's likely to be a bit banged up when it comes to the paintwork. This happens - over time, car paint naturally chips and suffers from some bumps and scratches. Used car paint will show this damage more clearly, as it might have been a little bit neglected before someone (you!) decided to show it some appreciation.

To add to this, older car models were painted with an Acrylic Enamel or Lacquer type of paint, which is notoriously dull and prone to chipping - no wonder that the years have taken their toll on your poor used car!

Whether you've got your used car for the purpose of using it daily, or whether you're just interested in trying to restore an older car to its former glory, one of the main things you will have to focus on will be the paintwork. It's the most obvious part of any car, and damage here will really give away the fact that it's far from a new model!

There will be some used cars that might need an entirely new respray; their paintwork damage has gone too far and is past the point of no return. In this case, there's not a lot of point trying to touch up each marking individually - you'll definitely be wasting your time!

However, if your used car paint has managed to get to this point relatively unscathed, with only minor paintwork damage to its name (such as road rash or stone paint chips) you can take care of it yourself - you just need the right tools.

This is where Chipex comes in

A Chipex car paint touch up kit is the perfect solution to making a used car look its best again. If you're happy to spend an afternoon putting the effort in to tend to any area where there are chips and scratches, you can have your used car paint all patched up, in your own home, on your own time.

There's a reason that so many customers trust Chipex to provide high quality touch up paint for any kind of car, whether that's new or used. Our kits are really easy to use, excellent value for money and tidy your car paint up to the point where they look seamless.

However old your used car, use your Chipex kit and it will help it look new again. Whatever type or colour of paint you need, we can match ours exactly to let you seamlessly patch up any markings or chips. You won't be able to tell where they used to be!

It's not just new models that deserve to be taken care of whenever they encounter some paintwork damage - used cars need a makeover every once in awhile, too! For more information about the paint touch up kits from Chipex, head here.
